PhD Candidate at the Arthur Labatt Family School of Nursing at Western
This Interprofessional Socialization study is a PhD dissertation research conducted by Hossein Khalili at the University of Western Ontario (Western). Hossein is a PhD Candidate at the Arthur Labatt Family School of Nursing at Western.
Hossein’s supervisor is Dr. carole Orchard, the Coordinator for Interprofessional Health Education and Research at Western. The other advisory committee members of this study include:

- Randa Farah, PhD, Associate Professor, Anthropology Department, University Of Western Ontario
Hossein has recently received the Registered Nurses' Foundation of Ontario(RNFOO) – Provincial Nurse Educators Interest Group (PNEIG) Award for this study. Further, he has been granted the Dean’s Award for Research Excellence – Second Place in Presentation – 21th annual Western Research Forum, 2008 for this research study.
Hossein is currently a chairperson for a working group called CIHC-ResearchNET to develop a National Interprofessional Research Network through Canadian Interprofessional Health Collaborative (CIHC). He is recently hired as a professor at the School of Nursing at Fanshawe College in the Western-Fanshawe Collaborative BScN Program.
