True Partnerships with Africa: a one-day symposium

October 18 , 2012

The symposium will bring together researchers, representatives from the governments of Canada and various African nations, funding agencies, and our research partners. Join us as we explore what it means to be in true partnership with our African colleagues; address questions related to risk management; and what the implications of the changing face of Africa are on our involvement there.

Registration is now open, register soon to indicate your attendance.  For all conference details, including registration, please visit the conference page at http://theafricainstitute.uwo.ca/Files/Oct18page.html

Collaborating Across Borders (CAB) IV

June 12-14, 2013

The CIHC is pleased to be working with our colleagues at the American Interprofessional Health Collaborative (AIHC) and the UBC Office of Interprofessional Continuing Education on the development of the CABIV conference. The conference will be held from June 12-14, 2013 in Vancouver B.C. The conference theme "Transformative Change from the Classroom to Practice" reflects the importance of concept and theory as they play a role in preparation of future health professionals. Please feel free to visit the CABIV website at www.cabiv.ca.

Abstracts for the conference are being accepted until October 26, 2012. You may view the Advance Notice/Call for Abstracts here. Abstracts can be submitted online by clicking here.

Be sure to check out an interview with Lesley Bainbridge on the CIHC blog. Interviews will be conducted with all members of the Executive Planning Committee over the next several weeks. As well, we'll use the blog to post discussion points related to the conference theme and program. Be sure to check back often!

If you're on Twitter, be sure to follow @CIHC_ca and use #cabiv when talking about the conference.

We look forward to seeing you in Vancouver next June! Stay tuned to these updates for more information about CAB IV.
